I Am Here, Here I Am :)

Hello and welcome to my down under blog...

I have now been here for just over a month and things are going well... Winston has returned to us from his 30 day stay in quarantine, or I believe he would say borstal, it was a bit grey and small and in a very hot place (Eastern Creek, NSW) though he doesn't seem to mind the heat too much. He seems to be adapting to flat living and seems to have found a couple of nice spots to lie in, under the couch and in front of the bedroom doorway. He also like his new toy - a catnip scratch pad with mice attached - heaven!

Megan and I are doing OK too... the flat is not yet to our liking but we are putting things straight and once our stuff from the UK arrives it will all feel a little cosier... Yesterday we went out and bought paint and we are whitewashing the whole place, we are also pulling the bathroom apart and redoing the whole thing, so lots of changes in place... we will be decorating out palm tree (in the corner of the front room) with tinsel this year as our Xmas tree and celebrating the Sun at its strongest point for Summer Solstice... which is very strange but now all bad cause now I get two Xmases (one being Yule in June).

Megan played her first game of Indoor Cricket last night and won... we are both now going to a Tai Chi class and we both love the energy that is coming from that... I am now trying Tribal Belly Dancing, which is something I have always wanted to have a go at and although I am really feeling it in the arms, its all good fun :)... We are also both advertising and getting our circles up and running, which is lovely because we get to meet new people... more of this please Universe :)

Megan is, as we speak, waking up the neighbours by taking tiles off in the bathroom, Winston is again under the couch and as you probably guessed, I am on the computer and will be going swimming in the next hour or so...
