Season's Greetings

It really doesn't feel like christmas... I have no roast dinner to prepare, no Yule tree to decorate, in fact no Yule at all cause its Summer Solstice down under but I will be true to traditions and put up my Yule tree in June (I guess that means I will get 2 Xmases, WooHoo)... it still doesn't feel like xmas even though the shopping is done and the pressies are wrapped and the mince pies will be prepared tomorrow.

We are having seafood this year and will be joining my brother-in-law and partner at their home for the day along with the outlaws and two dogs, one more boistrous than the other. The Great Dane is (I am told) an absolute sweetie and when he puts his legs up on a 6 foot fence he can peer over the top easily ekk, I think I'll just scratch his ears and leave it at that... The other dog is a lovely border collie, dingo cross (known as a kelpie) who is very excitable and totally food oriented so hopefully dinner stays on our plates on Friday.

I wish you all happy holidays and will fill you in on more of the days fun soon...
